6th Annual VHF Induction Event and Celebration of California Wine & Food
Each spring, the college holds a Vintners Hall of Fame Induction Celebration, to help to support the Vintners Hall of Fame and contribute to the scholarship fund for students in the Professional Wine Studies program at the CIA at Greystone.

2012 CIA Leadership Awards
The CIA's Annual Leadership Awards, "The Augies" will be held at the The New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. This year's honorees are:  Dean Fearing '78, Larry Forgione '74, Paul Prudhomme, Wolfgang Puck, and Jasper White '76.

Love & A New Restaurant Bloom for Alumni Couple
CIA Alumni Couple the GoldbergsJeremy '03 & Paola '03 Goldberg met while at the CIA and just opened a new restaurant together. They named it "Route 9" as a tribute to their meeting and the CIA.

CIA Bakery Café in San Antonio
CIA San AntonioSince the work on the CIA, San Antonio's educational classrooms is now complete, the college has been focused on preparing the opening of our first public restaurant at the campus; the CIA Bakery Café . The Café opened to the public on Saturday, March 5 and will be open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Saturday, and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Sundays.  

Alumni compete against each other on Food Network's "Chopped"
Christine Campbell '06, Julio Lazzarini '95, and Marc Spooner '07 were three of the four contestants who competed against each other in "Chopped" episode "Floundering Around." In the end, Marc Spooner '07 was named the winner.
