Lagrange Woman's Gift Supports the CIA
Eleanor Lenich of LaGrange and her husband Peter were daily patrons of the café until Peter Lenich's sudden death in 2002. In his memory, Mrs. Lenich established the Peter F. Lenich Memorial Scholarship at the college and funded the creation of the Peter F. Lenich Memorial Garden on campus. Her growing friendship with and love for the CIA has led her to generously give her former residence and 125-acre property to the college. On May 2 the contents of the home will be auctioned, with the proceeds benefiting various programs at The Culinary Institute of America.
