What a weekend we had! More than 150 alumni and friends joined us for the 2012 Alumni Homecoming. Among the revelers were many graduates from our original New Haven campus as well as several alumni from the class of ’72 who were celebrating their 40th reunion! Attendees spent the weekend dining on great food and reveling in the company of good friends at a variety of events.
On Friday, alumni mingled at an outdoor cocktail reception, dined on delicious food in our award-winning restaurants, and danced and sang—yes, there was Karaoke—the night away. Saturday marked the return of our second annual “Run for Your Knives” 5K Walk/Run, co-chaired by Robert Kabakoff ’86 and Travis Strickland ’08. Alumni then had the opportunity to hear presentations by President Tim Ryan and Victor Gielisse, vice president of advancement and business development, and enjoy a demo by Jonathan Benno ’93, acclaimed executive chef of Lincoln in New York City,. The festivities came to a delicious end after a fun-filled Down-homecoming BBQ.
