Bringing New Life to Copia
The CIA has acquired the building and adjacent land that once served as Copia: The American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts in the City of Napa, expanding the CIA's presence in the wine country and reestablishing an innovative food and wine destination.

Latest in Food Innovation Revealed at reThink Food
More than 350 guests—food industry leaders; academics and innovators in R&D, technology, and consumer package goods; marketers; and others in related fields—filled the CIA at Greystone on November 6–8 for the second annual reThink Food conference.

The CIA Returns the F.A.V.O.R.
Starting with Veterans Day 2015, those who served in the United States military will receive discounts to the restaurants at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. The special deals are being offered through the Find and Assist Veterans of Record (F.A.V.O.R.) card program.

Eli Kulp '05 And His Battle to Rebuild His Life After Being Left Paralyzed in Deadly Amtrak Derailment
This past May 12, CIA class of 2005 graduate and a 2014 Food & Wine Best New Chef, Eli Kulp's life was forever changed as he was paralyzed in the deadly Amtrak derailment while commuting home from his restaurants in Philadelphia.  Eli opens up to People about his battle to rebuild his life since the accident.  

CIA Grads on New Season of Top Chef
Season 13 of the Bravo network's popular Top Chef cooking competition reality show features five CIA alumni: Garret Fleming '07, Kwame Onwuachi '13, Amar Santana '02, Grayson Schmitz '04, Wesley True '03. The season premier airs Wednesday, December 2 at 10 p.m. EST.

Spring Classes Now Open For Registration at The Food Business School of the CIA
The Food Business School (FBS), the center for executive education of the CIA, is accepting registration for its spring courses, including its first-ever offering in New York. Spring courses include the online Building Food Supply Chains for a Sustainable Future, Mission-Driven: Developing a Values-Based Food Brand, Ethical Leadership in Food Business, and Food Venture Formation and Financing.
